Digital mammography

Digital mammography detects the presence of cancer in the very early and curable stages, even when a lump is too small to be felt. This digital technology decreases the radiation dose of the mammogram while enhancing the image quality and sensitivity so a radiologist can discern the subtle information of the mammogram, especially in dense tissue areas.

No matter what stage of life you're in, facing cancer is frightening and disruptive for the entire family. Our Cancer Care Coordinator is here to assist you through every step of the journey.

The Florida Hospital Cancer Institute at East Orlando offers complimentary one-on-one access to a breast care specialist who helps you through the breast cancer treatment process. She is here for scheduling, helping with insurance issues, symptom management, coordination of providers, education and disease information, or just heart-to-heart talks about your treatment process.
