Florida Hospital East Orlando offers an array of surgical services as well as the latest technology available for various types of surgical procedures. Our team of dedicated and capable surgeons, nurses and technicians deliver expert, specialized care. We also offer inpatient and outpatinet minimally invasive same day surgeries and help those with chronic pain associated with injury or illness in The Pain Medicine Center.

OR Renovations

Two Florida Hospital East Orlando operating rooms have undergone a major renovation. The operating rooms were enlarged and updated to feature a state of the art integration system which allows for increased efficiency in patient care.

The new integration systems feature HD video screens with touch screen control, as well as electronic documentation, PACS imaging, equipment control and eventually video conferencing. PACS imaging is a tool that allows physicians to access items such as MRI, CT or other critical patient information during surgery all in one place, improving the physician's abilities to access information and quickly treat patients in surgery. The hospital also added Laminar Flow to the operating rooms creating a more sterile environment for patients.

Two other operating rooms received a "face lift" instead of a full makeover. These rooms provide the patient with a much more relaxed and aesthetic environment.
