Syed Mobin, MD, Medical Director

Dr. Syed I. Mobin earned his medical degree at Dow Medical College Karachi in Karachi, Pakistan and performed his Internal Medicine internship and his surgical internship from Civil Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. He then completed his residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine from Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan and his fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine from the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

Dr. Mobin is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with sub-specialties in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine, and by the American Board of Sleep Medicine.

Daniel Layish, MD

Dr. Daniel T. Layish earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts and performed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

He then completed his fellowship in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

Dr. Layish is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with sub-specialties in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine, and by the American Board of Sleep Medicine.

Ahmed Masood, MD

Dr. Ahmed Masood received his medical degree from the University of Karachi in Karachi, Pakistan and then completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Dow Medical College/Civil Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. He performed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Staten Island, New York.

He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Dr. Masood is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with sub-specialties in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine, and by the American Board of Sleep Medicine.

Karem Principe, MD

Dr. Karem Y. Principe graduated from the medical school at University of Puerto Rico at the School of Medicine in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine and her residency at San Juan VAMC in San Juan, Puerto Rico, followed by her fellowship in Pulmonary Disease at San Juan VAMC/University Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico and her Sleep Medicine and Neurobiology Fellowship at Case Western University, Sleep Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Principe is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a sub-specialty in Pulmonary Disease, and by the American Board of Sleep Medicine.

Francisco Remy, MD 

Dr. Francisco J. Remy graduated medical school from Universidad Nacional Mayor De San Marcos in Lima, Peru and performed his Internal Medicine internship at State University of New York, Health Center at Brooklyn in Brooklyn, New York and his Pulmonary Disease residency at Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins in Lima, Peru.

He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
