Orange County also offers after-hour, non-urgent care centers. The Primary Care Access Network, also known as PCAN, is a collaborative effort between Orange County Government, primary health care centers, community agencies, hospitals and other social services.
The PCAN clinics accepts most insurances, Medicare and Medicaid and has a sliding fee schedule for those who may not have health insurance or who have limited health insurance but are in need of regular health care services. No appointment is necessary and the PCAN clinics are a convenient alternative for non-urgent and minor healthcare needs. The PCAN clinics can also provide follow-up care to an Emergency Room visit.
