Welcome to Florida Hospital Surgery Center at Florida Hospital East Orlando. We understand the time and considerations that go into selecting a location for a surgery or Endoscopy procedure. Our entire staff is pleased that you and your surgeon are considering our facility. Should you choose to have your surgery or Endoscopy procedure at Florida Hospital Surgery Center, our dedicated staff will work hard to ensure that your visit is as comfortable as possible, both for you and your family.

Environment

Florida Hospital Surgery Center is a 13,500 square foot facility that offers the latest in state-of-the-art equipment, as well as individual patient bays and fully equipped operating suites and Endoscopy procedure rooms to ensure that you are receiving the best care possible before, during and after your procedure takes place. The center is staffed by nurses, certified technicians and other specially trained professionals.

Pre-admission Services

The pre-admission process is designed for your convenience. Registration and the pre-surgery interview are conducted at Florida Hospital East Orlando and are coordinated to meet your needs and minimize travel time. During this time, a member of the pre-admission team will collect your insurance information, perform necessary pre-admission testing, and review your pre-procedure checklist. Please bring all documents your surgeon gives you, as well as your insurance card and any other materials requested by our staff.

In most cases, Endoscopy procedures will not require pre-admission process with registration occurring the day of the procedure. If you have not been contacted two days prior to your surgery for either of these services, please call Pre-Admission Testing at 407-303-8620.

If you are having an Endoscopy procedure, please complete the following forms and bring them with you the day of your procedure: English or Spanish Demo Form, Health History Form and Medication Form.

The Ease of Outpatient Surgery

Florida Hospital East Orlando Surgery Florida Hospital Surgery Center helps to make the entire surgical process much easier on you, the patient. In addition to added ease with your Pre-Admission Services, outpatient services allows the patient to avoid being admitted directly to the hospital, and allows for the patient to have a surgery or Endoscopy procedure and return home the very same day. Most importantly, many of the procedures at the center are minimally invasive, which allows for less discomfort and quicker recovery time.

As the first of its kind in the East Orlando area, Florida Hospital Surgery Center will bring with it the new medical services for a community that deserves them. Florida Hospital Surgery Center, on the campus of Florida Hospital East Orlando, is located in the Medical Office Building directly off Chickasaw Trail.
