FHEO Wins FPRA Award for In the Loop

Congratulations to the Florida Hospital East Orlando Marketing Department for winning an Award of Distinction at the 2010 Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Image Awards in the Special Events category for the In the Loop: Stretching the Pink Ribbon Around the World event held in September 2009.

Florida Hospital East Orlando created "In the Loop: Stretching the Pink Ribbon Around the World," a unique breast cancer awareness event to announce the hospital's new Digital Mammography services, introduce our female physicians, and encourage women on a global level to make annual mammogram appointments for themselves and the women they care about.  More than 2,000 women attended this event, and calls were made to more than 40 countries. 

Florida Hospital Media Relations also received awards for Florida Hospital & Burnham Institute Host First of Its Kind Medical Day Camp, Superman Dwight Howard Flies in for Children for Special Announcement, and Florida Hospital Manages Media Frenzy Over Swine Flu.  It was a great night for Florida Hospital.
