Meet Our Executive Team
Administrator
Mike Thompson is the Administrator at Florida Hospital East Orlando and has been with the Florida Hospital system for 12 years serving most recently as assistant administrator as well as vice president of operations at Florida Hospital Celebration Health where he provided leadership for the operations committee, a variety of clinical areas, and provided oversight of a $100 million patient tower opening in August 2011 and an $18 million expansion of the Nicholson Center for Surgical Advancement opening in September 2011. He also has served as assistant administrator at Winter Park Memorial Hospital, a Florida Hospital, and director of finance for surgical services.
Michelle Fuentes
Assistant Administrator
Michelle Fuentes is the Assistant Administrator at Florida Hospital East Orlando and has been with Florida Hospital for nine years. Michelle spent her first six years working within finance before making a career change into hospital operations. Her daily responsibility is for the day to day hospital operations including, but not limited to, managing financial, process and patient satisfaction outcomes.
Michelle graduated from Union College in Lincoln, NE in 2001 and received her MBA from Webster University in 2004. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Kathy Grace
Chief Nursing Officer
Kathy Grace is the Chief Nursing Officer for Florida Hospital East Orlando and has been with Florida Hospital for 26 years. Her first 20 years were in Cardiology, where she served as a Cath Lab RN, Educator, Cath Lab Coordinator, and finally as the Assistant Director for all seven campuses.
Kathy has been an RN for 35 years. She received her Associates in Nursing from Mott Community College, in Flint, Michigan, her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration, from St. Leo College, and her Masters of Science in Administration, from Andrews University.
What puts the smile on her face is her husband of 44 years, and her two sons, who both work for Florida Hospital.
